Ramsey to Reds rumours intensify

The news that Aaron Ramsey is set to run down his Arsenal contract and leave on a free transfer in the summer has led to plenty of transfer speculation. 

Liverpool and Manchester United have been the club most strongly linked with the Welshman, and of those two you'd think that a move to Jurgen Klopp's Reds would have the most sense. 

The Reds are blessed with several midfielders, but James Milner will be out of contract in the summer and Adam Lallana has never truly got back to his best after last summer's injury.

What's more, Ramsey would be able to team up with his former Arsenal teammate Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at Anfield, as well as young Welsh colleagues Harry Wilson and Ben Woodburn once they return from their loan spells.

Juve join Reds in Ramsey pursuit

Juventus have reportedly joined Liverpool and Chelsea in the race for Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey.

The Welshman has had the offer of a new contract withdrawn by the Gunners after failing to agree fresh terms and is set to leave as a free agent next summer.

And the Italian giants hold a big advantage over their rivals from the Premier League, because they can agree a lucrative pre-contract agreement with Ramsey in January, report the Daily Mail.

The former Cardiff midfielder could command wages in the region of £250,000-a-week due to the buying club not having to stump up a transfer fee.
